This simple and elegant blouse is soft 100% cotton, handwoven on a pedal loom by members of the Lopez family in Mitla Oaxaca. This town is famous for its Mixteca ruins, but is also known by connoisseurs  of Mexican handcraft for the production of fine handwoven textiles. This blouse preserves the elements of a regional native garment called huipil:  here in its is is shortened so that it can be easily worn any with contemporary cut pants or skirt. Because of it's open weave it is super cool and comfortable in warm climates or at the pool or beach.
