The guayabera, also known as chacabana, guayabel, or Mexican wedding shirt, is a classic choice for groom, groomsmen and guests alike at beach and destination weddings. Because it is worn without a coat or tie, with the hem outside the pants instead of tucked in, the guayabera is cool and comfortable wedding attire that does not sacrifice on elegance. 

Members of the wedding party can vary greatly in stature, which is why Huitzilli offers a great range of sizes, including our newest addition, the Tall / Long for the man who is extra tall or has a very long torso. No more oversized baggy shirts just to cover the hips, which is important in a well fitted guayabera! Our Long /Tall version, available from 34 XS to 44 XL,  has an added 4" to the length along with all of the elaborate details you expect. True pin tucking front and back, embroidery and cigar pocket on the breast are  characteristics of the craftsmanship in the "Guayabera Rejilla", named for the tiny embroidered perforations that  further embellish this luxurious 100% cotton shirt.

Our Plus Size  guayaberas come in 46, 48 and 50 (2X- 3X) and have all the same exquisite details including the cigar pocket. The square cut makes them perfect for men with a bit extra around the middle.  Our sizes are based on chest measurement and roughly fall one to two sizes smaller than jacket size. Aside from weddings, Guayaberas make a very appropriate attire for commencements and first communions. For adolescents and young men we have Youth sizes 14 - 18 and for Infants & Boys the sizes range from 1 - 12.  The Youth and boys guayaberas also feature all of the same details minus the cigar pocket and since they are made of soft 100% cotton manta, they are especially nice for babies and make a beautiful shower gift.

The Women's guayabera is darted and fitted at the waist but otherwise features all the same details minus the cigar pocket. The feminine guayabera makes a fantastic business casual blouse and looks beautiful combined with skirt or pants. Female guayabera sizes range from 32 Petite to 44 XL.
